It seems that no change that i make in the OBS configs give me a different result, the mic keeps with the audio return on my headset no matter what
also capturing the audio of the surround while in Discord and other apps the same thing dont happen
There's a setting in Windows to do that too. OBS can't do anything about that.
I think it's called "Listen to this device" or something like that.

That could be way off though. Media is inherently technical, with lots of little nuances that all have their own unique ramifications. So a short non-technical description is almost meaningless. Especially if it doesn't understand the terminology and thus misuses it. How close did I guess?
