Question / Help Microphone stutters on OBS, works perfectly elsewhere

I have a blue yeti pro microphone and whenever I do a local recording my microphone cuts off on a constant loop, like a timed loop where my voice cuts off and resumes... Microphone works perfectly in mumble, skype, teamspeak... can anyone help with this? I'm literally out of options, already tried different ports, tried without the USB extension cable, unplugged all headsets, cameras and only hooked up the Yeti.. still, nothing.. suggestions? anyone?
