It's literally as if the microphone stopped being recorded for a short moment.
I know it's not a physical issue with the microphone. When I record only sound with Adobe Audition, there aren't any glitches.
It's also not an issue with the CPU not being able to "keep up". While recording, the system is at most under 10% load.
I've tried every possible audio sample rate and bitrate. Additionally, this issue appears also on Ubuntu and Mac OS - on a completely different machine!
The microphone properties on Windows are set to "2 channel, 24 bit, 48000 Hz". OBS audio sample rate is also 48kHZ.
Did anyone have a similar problem? At this point, I'd be willing to request a refund for the microphone (it's still under warranty) but, as you read above, there are no issues when I record pure audio without OBS.
