Question / Help Microphone sound not streamed

Hello, when I have OBS v0.47a and when I stream the green line under the red bars indicates that its picking up sound from my mic but no sound is streamed. Music and sounds from in games work on stream. My microphone is working, I've tried it on skype etc. My current audio settings are:

Playback Audio Device- Default
Microphone/Auxiliary Audio Device- Default

No push to talk, offset, or boosts.

Generally I've found that in order for your voice to be heard, that green line has to hit max a bit while you're talking into the mic...theres a mic boost setting under Audio. With mine, I had to play with that setting and test a bit to get the mic so ppl could hear me.

you're very welcome...i also found i had to test with different mics (i have 3 i could use)...only one of them gave good enough sound quality even when boosted for me to be able to consider using it for a stream
