Microphone not working

So, last Thursday I tried to make an SMM2 video. I had everything connected. but when I finished and went to Capcut to edit, I noticed that I couldn't hear myself! I could only hear the Switch

I'm also encountering this issue right now. When I try to edit my recordings in CapCut, I can only hear the game audio and not my voice. If anyone has found a fix for this, I'd really appreciate the help!

As always, start with the meter. Does OBS show a signal? Does that signal behave as expected? if so, then OBS is getting it, and you need to look at the output side. If not, then OBS is not getting it, and you need to look at the input side.
