Question / Help Microphone not working while noise gate is active

Basically with OBS when I want to use the noise gate, which I have to use as I am close to a living room in the house that I live in, the microphone is disabled and does not output any sound. I have messed around with all of the threshold bars and this does not effect the problem at all. The microphone works with out the noise gate. OBS used to work before but then just randomly this problem occurred and made OBS unusable. I left OBS for about 2-3 months and thought that there might be a update to fix it or something like that but it never did. Literally everything else works and the problem is not to do with my microphone as I talk to friends and people in games with no problems.

Any sort of help would be highly appreciated! :D

do you have a ptt key assigned? disable all other sound enhancements in windows recording devices for your mic.

I do not have push to talk enabled and do not have a key for it, also I closed everything except OBS and the mic still did not work

I also mentioned disabling sound enhancements in windows recording devices. Lastly, post your OBS logfile from a recording session and screenshot all your OBS tabs and upload to imgur

I would go back to the basic ligitech troubleshooting first:

There might be some implementation of a noisegate in your G430.
