I don't know if this is a bug or not. Sometimes when I stream, I do so without my microphone, as I'm using a duct taped G35 and don't always need it except when playing team games. The issue is this: when I start OBS with the microphone unplugged, it seems the audio-source in the settings defaults to none. But what happens is when I do have my microphone plugged in, it doesn't seem to automatically pick it up.
What this means is that if I forget to check it before I stream (like I did last night), I end up with a two hour stream where nobody can hear my voice. I was wondering if this is a bug, or intended.
If this is intended behavior, it would be nice to have it auto detect a microphone at start up, and then make us either disable or mute it. That seems easier than going into the settings and selecting the USB Mic as an audio source every time.
