Question / Help Microphone mutes when not speaking

Hi,

During the streaming the Logitech C270 mutes when I'm not speaking, and unmutes when I start speaking.... It is really anoying because when it mutes the small background noise to totally zero, it sound like there would be an sound issue.
It hase no sense to mute the small background noise because it sounds very natural. How can I turn off this behaviour ?

Alright, so apparently you've got sound gate enabled. Go to your microphone, then right click, click filters, and disable sound gate.

It's an OBS filter, along with noise reduction and compressor. These are all also featured in Audacity.
