If I tell OBS to capture my microphone to be able to talk to the stream, my microphone does not work in skype anymore. I am using the ASUS XONAR DG Headphone Amp & PCI 5.1 Audio Card and my microphone is plugged into the microphone port on that audio card. Thanks for any help in advance!

Search the forum for XONAR. It's a known problem with that audio setup, you have to switch a specific mode off for it to work. I think it's the GX or XG mode has to be disabled.
Also, on a side note I highly recommend against any streamer using Skype. It's an insecure piece of bloatware, and many larger streamers have been targetted by DDoSes due to it being ridiculously easy to grab your IP from, with just your Skype name.

Er, actually I meant searching the OBS forums. :) Lots of people have had problems with the XONAR.
