Hello, I have run into an odd issue while using OBS.

While steaming, my microphone echoes. You hear me twice. It is not coming from any windows open or anything, it is definitely my system.

I am using Astro a40s if that matters. Thanks for any help.

Well, if you have the stream open while testing, the echo will be recorded as well and your friend will hear it, sure. All I'm asking is if you have any browser windows open to your stream while streaming?

What are your audio devices set to in OBS? (your Desktop and Mic/Aux devices)

There are no browsers it could be echoing from.

Audio is...

Desktop is "Default"
Microphone is Set to "Headset Microphone (ASTRO MixAmp Pro)"

I have tried a variation of default and actually picking the device or doing default and they all seem to echo

Check your device inputs. I helped someone with this issue cause their Capture card was inputting the Mic audio so everything would echo. Do a Test Recording with an Empty Scene. Then Add each device/ input device you have and see when the echo comes back.
