Question / Help Microphone delay and VAC

I am using Virtual Audio Cable with a VST, and thus have an inherent delay in my microphone. After some searching, I interpreted that the Mic Time Offset setting would compensate for this, but it actually does the opposite, and delays my microphone audio even more.

Is there any way I can fix this? Like delaying the stream so that my VAC can keep up with it?

you can set the mic time offset both backward and forward. If you increase scene buffering time, you can actually increase the amount of time you can send your mic data "back" in time, so to speak. Increase scene buffering time to 1000, and you can set your mic offset time to around -900, for example

Hello Jim,
I'm having the same issue.
I've set scene buffering time to 1000 and 3000 and others, but mic offset is capped at -150 for me, and I need -700.
Even if i set -700 it becomes -150

UPD: Fixed this by manually entering -700 in config file
