Microphone can be heard in other scenes.

So I'm fairly new to OBS and I have a problem whereas my mic can be heard in other scenes. So my scenes are roughly like this and only scene 3 has the microphone present from my headset.

Scene 1 : Intro video
Scene 2 : Pre recorded section.
Scene 3 : Live chat to other subscribers.
Scene 4 : Pre recorded section and so on

So in Scene 3 I have an input and output of my headset. This is the only scene that is live and uses the microphone to chat to subscribers.

Thanks in advance for any assistance

By default OBS will use your desktop audio and recording audio as global audio sources. You can change this in the settings.

Thanks Rich sorry to be so basic (still learning) so what would be the ideal set up to use to stop the mic coming over. So desktop audio and microphone audio in the global settings are pointing to the default of my headset at present.

If you only want the mic on the scenes you add it to, set the Mix/Aux in settings to "Disabled".

When I was starting out, I found the following OBS Audio related links to be helpful.
Personally, as my use case did NOT require using OBS Desktop Audio, I simply disabled all of the OBS Global Audio Devices, then selectively adding only those Audio Sources desired, in the Scenes desired (when starting out, be sure to 'reference', not 'duplicate' audio source [ie, Duplicate = create new source] in each OBS Scene... {hope I said that right... I'm not in front of OBS PC at the moment)
For me that made things much cleaner, though I recognize my approach won't work for all OBS use cases
