Question / Help Microphone background noise interference suppression - how?

I got an USB Microphone today, the sound quality of it is WAY better than my previous mini jack microphone which was connected through my sound card. The only problem is I don't have any background noise interference Suppression options now, and my fan from PC is hearable. I can use team speak noise suppression while talking in team speak, or get a sample of noise while recording for youtube in audacity then remove it, but for streaming... Is there some software or plugin for OBS to cancel background noise? (Noise gate is piece of shit it doesn't remove anything :/ )

If you are wondering what microphone it is, you will be surprised. It is PS3 Eye camera, the build in microphone is amazing, it sounds like Blue Yeti mircophone, and I am actually blown away by how good this sound (You have to have custom driver made for this camera though to get that good sound quality)

anyway back on topic, anyone know how can we get this option:

Made for USB Mic? (with 3rd party software or a plugin)

Should maybe look into the Noise Gate plugin that comes with OBS.

I told you it's pice of shit, all it does it turn off the microphone when you not speak but the noise is still there when you start speaking, this doesn't cancel anything :/

Well, it's better than having that background noise on the stream all the time, yes?

USB microphones generally do not use stuff from your sound card, so that's probably why you no longer have the ability to use noise suppression from your hardware. Noise cancellation is quite difficult to do from what I understand, and I don't think something like that will be available for OBS any time soon.

Aren't there like a 3rd party software that can make noise cancellation on the fly like sound card does?

Maybe, but I'm not familiar with any of them, and I'm not sure you would be able to then pass that feed to OBS directly.

I wonder if anyone knows if VAC has noise cancellation abilities? Perhaps someone more familiar with the program can chime in.

Maybe a VST Plugin could do it. Unfortunately, I don't know much about VST to say how to do it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Virtual_Studio_Technology

VST is used in many applications for audio processing. There's a free VST host called...well...VSTHost. Disregarding the Comic Sans, it's actually not a bad program.

The harder part is finding a good and free noise cancelling plugin, and even if you find one, you'll have to spend some time tuning it. I can't help you there, unfortunately.

VAC = Virtual Audio Cable. But I don't think it has noise cancellation.
