Question / Help Mic working in game, but not on stream... help?

all of my sound is working for music, desktop and all. even my mic in the game I'm playing works, but its not working in twitch or obs, help ASAP so I can get back to streaming plz

I don't know. I tried everything, can u help me? I have a headset and a webcam, what do I do???
I thought maybe it wasn't working on one of them so I tried to activate both, I just downloaded this a few hours ago and I'm a first time streamer and I just found out my mic hasn't been working the entire time. I honestly have no idea what I'm doing, so I tried messing around with it for a while and yet it my mic still doesn't work on obs...
