Question / Help Mic Time Offset, Cant Got Lower than -60???

I am using a Creative Fatal1ty HS-1000 USB Gaming Headset, and the sync seems to be fairly off when trying to use in conjuction with my StarTech PCI capture card. I have tried altering the 'Mic Time Offset' option, but the lowest i can get the value seems to be -60, i set it more that that (-1000) but when i go back into the settings again it seems to revert back to -60. is there a way to decrease this further?

Wait, you are using a negative value, so your capture card is faster than your Microphone? (so to say)
Why dont you just delay your capture card then? :)

yeah just set the mic time offset to 0 and delay the video capture. You can offset it to 1000 and then it would be same as offsetting mic by -1000. You know offsetting to negative value is impossible since mic can't capture "future" :D -60 is possible since there is some delay in OBS but lower than -60 is not possible since then it would be capturing future which is obviously impossible :p

Actually you can, you just have to raise the scene buffering to my knowledge.

Well ofc by increasing the scene buffering you will be able to go lower offset since there is more headroom for it. So delay the game capture or increase the scene buffer. Both does the same final result
