Mic stuttering with OBS (26 and 27)

Hi,

I'm trying to record some clips with OBS. I'm using Rode Procaster with Behringer U-Phoria UM2 as a mixer (no other devices are connected to this "mixer") which is connected to USB 3 on my machine. While the recording works great (and no matter which video codec or container I use - Nvidia's H.264 codec, Stream's FX Nvidia new codec in H.264, Prores) - the audio from the Mic stutters.

A simple video which shows the issue: https://youtu.be/sBo39S8syHM
A log file: https://obsproject.com/logs/ClPTWbkPsyctorIy

EDIT: I tried to switch from MP4 to MKV. doesn't help.

Thanks

(MKV is better anyways.)

Don't know about your device "Blackmagic WDM Capture" which seems to bring in a second audio device with the video.
Can you try to disable the audio capture path on that source? If not, can you try to get your audio in via this device? (And leave the Behringer aside for a moment?)

And the blackmagic device is using a capturing format "HDYC" i never heard of. (Seldom? Changeable?)

Try to step back to usual encoder settings.

On the other hand maybe it's the Behringers drivers just are nuts. Proof the windows sound settings regarding this device. (Exclusively using apps, standard samplerate aso.)

Thank your for the given example. No more hints in the moment. =)

Regarding the Behringer - it doesn't have any driver of it's own. It's standard build in USB audio drivers being used and it works perfectly OK with apps like Audacity.

I will check your suggestions. Thanks ;)

Yepp. But the way audacity speaks to the driver may be another than obs does.
If there is an asio driver available for the behringer mixer, you can give it a try, too.
If not, you can try to bridge with the freely available "asio4all" generic driver.

For obs there is then a plugin available:
