Mic sounds as it should with AI monitoring but sounds inherently different on OBS monitoring and stream!

Before I start, here's my setup:
Audio Setup: Audient ID4 MKII USB-C interface, DT 990 pro 250ohms, Shure SM7b + Fethead.
PC: Z390 MAXIMUS ROG VI, 9900KS, 2080TI, 4000cl15 Tridentz Neo, Samsung 1tb NVMe.2, 850 platinum Seasonic.

So, mainly as the title states, when using the Audio interface's monitoring option and turning the knob towards the mic input, the microphone just sounds like it should, amazing, deep with clarity, boominess and prodcasty sound get higher feel with proximity effect, so it checks all the features that it should check. However, when i try to use the monitoring option on OBS, it just sounds like another mic. And sadly even after I streamed "thinking it was just a lower quality monitoring thing" the same sound that I heard in OBS monitoring was on my stream, which is basically not the quality of the sound that this mic should achieve, the natural depth and clarity of the mic are not there anymore, getting even closer to the mic did not introduce the proximity effect neither did it deepen my voice.
One of my concerns is that I had to use the "Mono" option on the advanced audio settings since its captured from 1 channel in my interface otherwise i'll be hearing myself on the left ear only! So i'm not sure if thats what is little bit of echo and a weird very low and subtle distortion in my voice. But regardless if the Mono option was selected or not, even the sound coming out of the the left earcup alone doesnt sound like the monitoring option on my AI.
Am i doing something wrong? all drivers are up to date, all sample rates are matched throughout, tried some filters but didn't help at all. did a reset and installed OBS and Audient drivers again, same thing.
More to my options, i'm using Nvenc, bitrate tried 160 and 320, 6k "total", all quality options are maxed out pretty much..
Please do let me know if you have any ideas as why this is happening.
