Question / Help Mic problems and overall Stream setup

New to the usage of OBS and Streaming in general. I remember the first day I started my mic would work just fine but a few days later it is no longer picked up by OBS. I've turned off the exclusive setting in the microphone properties already and it does work perfectly with skype. Here is my log: https://gist.github.com/00e9899a36a655ebb709c647972306ff

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Also if there is anything wrong with my bitrate or resolution or anything to help increase the stream quality that would be greatly appreciated as well. Thanks in advance.

You have the Mic channel set to 'Stereo Mix', which is essentially 'everything coming out of my speakers'. Switch it to your microphone device in OBS settings. You probably have a subtle echo effect at present as a result, though may not have noticed it.

550kbps is nowhere near enough bitrate for 720p@30fps video. That wants minimum 1500kbps, and prefers 2000. You'll need to downscale to 240p to fit in 550.

Switch back to AAC audio. MP3 is a legacy codec, and much worse. AAC uses the bitrate far more efficiently, so you can use less and get the same (or better) quality. If you're tight on bandwidth, 64kbps AAC audio is okay, 96 will sound almost the same as MP3-256. Seriously, switch to AAC.
