Mic picking up audio when muted.

I've had all sorts of sound issues that I've solved mostly by reading through the forums and researching. This one in particular has eluded me. My mic is muted via the switch on it and in my windows settings. When and only when voice dialogue is played on my computer the mic meter moves. Whether it's live recording or I'm watching a playback for QA. Ex.

I have noise suppression, vst EQ, compression and gain for filters, that's it. Here are my audio settings as well

I do have to rest now, but I will be checking in a few hours and will be able to respond then. An unfortunate result of late night fiddling with settings to try and solve my own issue D:
