Bug Report Mic Not Working Please Help!

Hey! Thank you for coming to my post, now to the business.

My OBS keeps telling me

An error has occurred initializing microphone audio - it may not be plugged in, or another application is using it in exclusive mode.

I know my mic is plugged in and working because I can talk over Skype with my headset. Also this is a new headset, this never happened with my old one. I have already tried going to playback devices and recording devices and unchecking exclusive boxes on both of them and it still isn't working.

BTW : My new headset is the Soundblaster Rage Tactic 3D Wirless (Its plugged in via USB)

So please help me :/

Post a log of it, perhaps there's a more specific error code. Did you actually close/restart skype/etc before changing that setting? That setting probably won't take effect until all those applications are closed that were using the mic.

Alos I have closed everything and restarted my computer after changing the settings

The mic is either disconnected or still in use exclusively by skype or other applications (in fact I would probably recommend you restart your computer if you turned off exclusive mode on it at this point)
