Question / Help Mic lag

Hey Guys,

So recently I updated to the latest build of OBS, and I also upgraded my graphics card.

Since these changes, whenever I try to preview stream and actually stream, my Audio Technica AT2020 lags in other applications. Most importantly Teamspeak 3 and Skype.

Do you guys know anything about this or have any other users had this problem?

Thanks for your help,

Daniel.

Trouble transmitting, like it'll miss out chunks of the audio, and then transmit the rest.

I don't see anything particularly strange in the log file -- I'm not sure why this would be happening exactly. Might be difficult without physically being at the computer to know for sure why this would be happening, but what I can tell you is that this is the first time I've heard of someone having this sort of problem. Probably not too helpful to hear, but it generally means it's more likely that something you changed on your computer might be the cause. Especially if it didn't happen before.

I'm not sure if I can help you determine what was the cause, you might be on your own there, but if you do find out please make sure to let us know so I can make note of it for the future.

Sorry I can't be more helpful -- I've just never seen this before and have no real solid theories on why this would occur, outside from the obvious fact that something changed. Question is what was it specifically that triggered the problem.
