Bug Report Mic issues

Hey!

When i stream, everything is working out just fine, both video and audio is fine. But OBS does not record my microphone at all for some reason. I don't have this issue in other apps.

I tried playing around with my audio and microphone settings but I'm getting nowhere. I tried searching google and this forum but i seem to be one of a kind with this problem, which is really weird. I'm not using any fancy devices or extra soundcards.

Any idea how to fix this?

Cheers

If possible try to post a log file of you attempting to use the mic

This is my latest log, if that's what you're asking for?

You probably should have created a new thread. I don't see any problem with the mic -- I think it's most likely just due to bad noise gate settings.

Many thanks for the fast reply and help.. I tried it and it works now. The volume bar in Noise gate is kinda strange... I have to regulate much lower as the bar is...
Sometimes if I stream I hear an echo from this what I am saying... ( stream is muted )... Dont know how to fix it :/

P.S.: Next time I'll create a new Thread ;) Thought it is not allowed to create new threads when a thread already exists ;) Sorry for that

( sorry for my bad english ) :(

It's no problem, glad you got it working. Echo means mic is playing played somewhere else, and desktop audio capture is picking it up, causing a feedback (or echo) loop. That's all it means. It's unfortunately due to a bad setting or as you stated playing your stream while streaming.
