Hey I'm a new caster and trying to stream Twitch but my mic is picking up sounds especially my co-caster.

He is echoing and my viewers and myself are cringing so much. IDK if this is the place to put it but if someone can help this would be much appreciated hosting some finals

Update after toying withit I believe it is including any sound from my desktop to the mic.
However sounds are the most recognizable thing

Any audio can be picked up from my mic anything i can do to this fix. ?

Using headphones, headset or just speakers?
Headphones/headset is needed when using any microphones, to greatly reduce microphone picking up sound from speakers.

Control panel, sound, recording, microphone, you can reduce volume there if microphone volume is maxed out.

Maybe show us a link to your video?

The echo may be coming from both the desktop audio and microphone picking up headphone speakers.
Does muting your microphone stop the echo?

OBS-Studio capture speakers for game and other people's voice is way too quiet, but maybe not completely muted.

in OBS-Studio You can right click audio devices, advanced audio properties, adjust delay maybe, but for now just set everything to zero.

all delays are at 0 and I do believe it is my mic picking up desktop Audio.

When my friend was talking it considered him desktop Audio and Mic.

today i turned off my boost for mic and it still picked some of his voice but a lot less of his voice not 100% of the time

Like listening to music my mic picks it up anything i can do. I guess this is my issue not an obs one feelsbadman
