Question / Help Mic help! Hoping this won't take long.

Hi! I'm pretty new with OBS, this may be a weird question. I used my headset mic for a while, but recently got a blue yeti to make the audio a bit better sounding. Ever since I switched mics, the software won't record, and I can't find anything to help solve it to configure to my mic. Any help?

Much love <3, thank you!

You'd change the mic input in Settings->Audio to the Yeti.
Do be aware that condenser mics (like the Yeti) are designed for use at ranges of 3"-12" from your mouth.

If you mean that OBS won't create video files, please try to make a recording and post the exact error message you receive, or after you stop the recording go to Help->Log Files->Upload Current Log File and post the URL it gives you here, so we can take a look at what's going on. :)

Ah, I wasn't that specific in my post, but it says it's connected with the yeti, however, the recording is still completely silent. The image shows me talking, and as you can see, the bars at the bottom didn't move (as they would when you speak). Not sure if I needed to change settings in that area either, but whatever works. Check that your mic is selected in Settings > Audio

Check which track(s) it is assigned to in Edit > Advanced Audio Properties

Check which tracks you are recording in Settings > Output
