Mic disconnects upon launching program

Whenever I open OBS now, it shows my mic activity fine on the visualizer for about 3 seconds, and then it disconnects my microphone from my entire computer (doesn't get picked up by discord or any other program) until I either restart my PC or disconnect/reconnect the mic in the audio device menu. This just randomly started happening a few days ago. I tried updating my OBS but to no avail (so I am on the latest version as of posting this if that matters).

Also, whenever I close the program it lags out and I have to either spam the X until not responding or task manager kill it (if that might give any hints as to the issue).
 
I don't think I ever used a streamlabs plugin, I just had browsersource for streamlabs alerts, but here is my log from the time before this was posted. Also to add, when I booted up OBS today, I heard the USB connect and then disconnect sound (using a blue snowball usb mic) and then the mic waited a much longer time before disconnecting, maybe 20 seconds instead of 3 or so like before.

Once the mic disconnects, it also makes the visualizer look kinda weird, where the very left end of it disappears so to speak, where normally it would look like what's shown in desktop audio.
