Mic Channel Playing Both Mic and Game Audio

I have played around with OBS a little after following some setup tutorials and had no issues until I turned it on today. When playing back a recording, I noticed an echo in the game audio. I then noticed that the mic channel was showing consistent audio output when no sound was being transmitted through the mic. I use headphones, so it's not sound from the speakers leaking through the microphone. Muting the mic does nothing to change the audio. I can move the slider down on the game channel and the audio remains on the mic line. It still picks up my voice when I talk, but I can't be recording with two instances of the same audio. Since gremlins apparently sabotaged my settings while I slept, I was wondering if anyone could help me get things back to normal.
