Problem is:
So, i was trying to record .Mp4 video with more than one audio channel.
1st channel: system audio (Games Audio , music , etc ). 2nd channel: mic audio.
And what would happen is that only ( 1 ) of the ( 2 ) audios tracks would get recorded and the second one would record nothing so it's just empty.
What caused the Problem is:
As you setup audio tracks you go to :
-Settings > output > (set mode to advanced) > recording > (( select how many audio tracks you want ))
I selected ( 1 ) and ( 2 ) but what was recorded was only track ( 2 ) ,so i tried again but this time i selected track ( 1 ) and track ( 3 ) and what happened is :
Only the higher number gets to record EX: - selecting track ( 1 ) and ( 4 ) it would only record track ( 4 ). - selecting track ( 1 ),( 2 ),( 3 ) and ( 4 ) it would only record track ( 4 ).
-Explanation-
always the last track "the higher in number" overrides all of the other tracks ,as if i was selecting only the last one. (( The program only can see the last track selected )) (( The program detects the mic and the system audio but only records the last track selected no matter where the audio is coming from ))
Solution:
i'm not familiar with coding but i'd say it's in the tracks section where the code should say :
if > track 1 + 2 + 3 selected then > record every track on it's own if > track 1 or 2 or 3 are set to different audio sources > then > record every source to it's selected track
but it says :
if > track 1+2+3 selected then > record last track if > track 1 or 2 or 3 are set to different audio tracks then > record the last track selected no matter what " and it doesn't see the 1st and 2nd track connected to any type of audio source , so it records nothing "
I hope i made it clear and easy to understand , i'm not an expert but i love trouble shooting , it took me over 12 hours to figure that out , I have tried all possible setting and this is what i was able to gather ,I'm really sorry if i made that really long to read or complicated somehow .
Please fix this it took me too much time. Ask me for any additional information. - Windows version : 10.0.1563 Build 15063
