I use a behringer 1222USB mixer, and all sounds go from it via USB to my streaming PC, and then in OBS I select the mixer as my mic.
The mixer however is a bit quiet, so I have to set my mic boost to 8x, which seems odd, but it works.
What confuses me is when the mic boost is set to more than 1x, the green monitoring bar is raised by a few bars.
This confused me, and I thought I had a loud buzzing noise or something, since the bar was always stuck at half way and whenever I played any sound it peaked.
Ill attach screenshots later, but for now, im just wondering why the base green line is so far up in the monitoring bar, and if that can be changed.
