Hi guys,

I am recording a video with the mic being an ordinary headphone.

In Advanced Audio Settings, I want to force the mic to one ear only. But it's grayed out for some reasons...

Here are my logs. Tks so much! https://obsproject.com/logs/a0chcmbqgOC2XBOX

The audio source of OBS should get some input first.
Advanced Audio Properties window should update after you reopen it.

By the way, your mic is "stereo"-ed at the driver level (you see two bars of the level meter in Audio Mixer; the mono input shows only 1 bar; 5.1 sound - 6 bars etc.) - no sense to use Mono checkbox in OBS. It is needed only if you want to average the channels = (L+R)/2. And in most cases special plugin to rematrix the channels will work better for doubling sound to muted channels (if there any). Also, there are standalone filters/plugins to pan the audio if you need better control over your sound in OBS. Even some VST 2.x plugins may work OK with OBS.

Yes. It is individual per Scene source of audio.

Global sources (that are present in all scenes) are set in main menu File>Settings>Audio>Global Audio Devices

By the phrase "The audio source of OBS should get some input first" I mean your device should generate some audio signal (be active) to OBS start to work with it. After this you should open Advanced Audio Properties window and the UI should update itself. If it is not - then this is some kind of bug.

Yeah thanks. It was a bug. My mic levels were showing but L/R adjustments were not possible. I restarted a few things and it suddenly worked again.
