Bug Report Mic/Aux not capturing the sound (push to talk activated)

Hello there !

I have a problem with OBS-studio all version same with the 0.13.4 version. I use push to talk for the Mic/Aux I should always be on the mixer to be able to talk with my push to talk if I click on scenes or sources with my mouse the microphone sound stop capturing in the mixer, I need to click again on Mixer and now the sound come again.

If you need more information I will make a video about this problem, thank for your help.

I'm having the same issue. No recording of anything on my desktop or from my Blue Yeti. I've gone through everything! I tried opening in both the video app on Win 10 and premiere with no luck. Since I'm going to edit my videos in premiere I figured I would try seeing if it worked there and it tells me there's no audio to output. I'm currently saving as MOV and have tried MP4 as well.

Hey I made it work! I followed this here after I read my own log and realized the encoder was failing. https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-studio-enable-coreaudio-aac-encoder-windows.32826/ I hope this helps you and anyone else with the same issue!

This is the video I made to show you the bug, I get all my desktop sound and microphone work in record or live stream, but if I click on sources or scenes you can see the microphone stop capturing when I click back on mixer the microphone come back.

@P4sC4L I spoke to the developer who implemented hotkey support and this behavior is intentional. It ensures that you're able to use the listbox's shortcut keys without triggering your hotkeys.

Hum... for me it's not realy normal because if by accident I click my mouse in the sources white box or scenes white box my microphone stop working. Dev team see my video?

Again the behavior is intended, your complaint is understood, I'm not sure what else to tell you. It's designed that way on purpose so that you can use the keyboard shortcuts for the list box without accidentally triggering hotkeys.
