Alright, to start I'm using v0.472b
I've got it set up for local recording only, not streaming. Not ready to take that step yet O.O I used the recommended settings over in the Guides area for local recording.
It records fine, and the sound is clear. However, there is either a 1.5-2 seconds delay in the audio, or the recording is cutting off the last 1.5-2 seconds... it's kind of unclear which it is, but regardless it is an issue.
Encoding -> buffer size is set to 0, as recommended. Quality is 10. bitrate is 1000.
Broadcast Settings -> file output only
Audio settings -> push to talk is off, force mic to mono is on, mic time offset is 0
advanced -> cpu preset is default, custom x264 encoder settings is 20. I set "force audio to sync to video time" to on, and there is no global audio time offset.
Unrelated question!
Its set to record at 1080p, my screen size, but I have it set to downscale to 720p. Will this ultimately save me rendering time later? Normally when I go to render I set it to 720, even though the source video is 1080p.
