I have OBS set up with a 5 minute replay buffer, video encoded to H.264 and saved to an M.2 SSD that is more than fast enough for the task. Push-to-talk is enabled and bound to the same mouse button as in game. My mic is a USB webcam and is the only microphone of any kind attached to the system.
I keep having my mic audio randomly cut out in the captured video. The video itself is nice and smooth at 60fps. Audio from the game is just fine. Sometimes I come through the mic without issue, and sometimes it randomly cuts out mid-sentence. There's no rhyme or reason to it. OBS is the only program that does this. People have no issue hearing me in-game, so the mic itself isn't cutting out. OBS is being run as an administrator. My computer has gobs of CPU time to spare and there's nothing CPU-intensive running except a single game and OBS. I've seen a lot of reports of this but none of the solutions seem to work for me.
