Question / Help Mic Audio Issues

I tried to make several videos with OBS and the mic came out decent, but it was too low so I tried to fix it. Now, it has gotten to the extent that even though the mic bar moves in accordance, it does not come out. I put in the settings to put the audio tracks up to three, so that later on I could edit the tracks to fit. Anybody has an idea as to how to fix this?

I fixed the problem but does anyone have an idea as to how I could possibly split the mic and desktop audio so they could be edited later to suit my needs?
