Question / Help Mic audio is a few seconds ahead of stream...

Please help. I decided to set my LGP to output audio directly to device, since outputting the audio to desktop was just going out of whack with audio desyncing. But Now, my only problem is that my mic seems to be heard a little ahead of the stream (maybe about 3-4 seconds ahead). I don't use a webcam btw. And I have "use buffering", "Mic QCP timestamps" and "Force desktop audio to use video timestamps" checked, (Even though I may not need that last one, idk). But if someone could figure out how to get my mic, and stream to go in sync that would be really helpful.

Also, it seems like usb 2.0 devices really do have issues...Does anyone recommend me trying the ExtremeCapU3 by Avermedia since it's a usb 3.0 device? I'm thinking about just upgrading my capture card since I use a laptop anyways. (Not a fan of desktops lol)

Hmm, I cant really recommend USB devices, neither 2.0 nor 3.0, but of course on a laptop the options are limited.
But lets first take a look at your sync problem, you could probably use the Mic Sync Offset, thats in the Audio settings of OBS. You will have to test a bit, for example start with 1000ms and see if your voice then fits to the video or if you need more or less.
Use buffering (on the lgp) should probably be active, the other 2 settings you mentioned should only be active if you have a device in usage that needs them. So unless you have been told to use them, or noticed they work better for you, I would probably turn them off.
Back to the capture cards, the U3 apparently is very similar to the LGP, so you might experience similar issues, just with the ability of recording 30fps more on 1080p footage. So I personally would probably try to get the best out of the LGP as long as it works and does what you want.
One device that apparenttly is pretty good, and still usb 3.0, is the X-Capture 1 from Solaris (Japan). This device is known to work pretty well and fast, you can probably find some tests of it online to get more info. But its also an expensive device, 300+$. So again, maybe see if the lgp isnt enough for the job at the moment.
