Question / Help Mic Audio and multiple tracks Weird Problem

At first I got desktop sound and no Mic sound but the bar moved with my voice for the mic and than with some messign around with output settings and i got it to where now if I talk and dont play any sound on desktop it plays my voice but kinda quiet and than if I tlk and record with a desktop sound than no sound is recorded from my mic... I use a yeti mic
 
So so far the way its been working what ever either the desktop or the mic which ever on plays sound first is the only one that plays sound like If I talked through mic first than desktop would have no sound and if I played sound on desktop first than nothing would be recorded from the mic
