Mic and Audio fused?

Good Evening, I hope you're having a wonderful day. I am currently using a capture card that captures my in game display as well as my game audio. I've connected my mic to it and when I ask obs to capture the input audio the software captures both of the audios at the same time. I would like to separate both of these sources so that I can control the volume of each. I basically want to be able to hear my voice but still, be able to capture both of the audios.

This is the trickiest thing in OBS because there are several different settings involved.

1) Enable multiple audio tracks on your recording settings

2) Set them up in the Global Audio Devices list

3) Right click the Audio Mixer and go to Advanced, then set the audio sources for each track. I have my Track 1 recording both my desktop audio and mic, then I have track 2 recording only desktop, and 3 only mic

Which device do you mean with "it"?
Through hdmi, one audio channel is transmitted. After "it" merges your mic and the game audio for output to hdmi, you cannot separate it from hdmi after capturing with a capture card. It's mixed.
To be able to capture audio from different sources with OBS, they need to be separate in the first place on the machine were OBS is running on, so you need to connect your mic to the machine OBS is running on to capture the mic without anything else.
