I need to settle on a mic, and I have been thinking about the AT2020. Didn't realize so many people use them for streaming, so that must be a good thing. Or the AT2035, I don't mind paying the price difference, but I have been told the AT2020 works better at a further distance. To me that sounds like bunk, but I can't test the two to find out myself.
What I need out of a mic is obviously good sound quality with a low noise floor. But my most important point it needs to cover, is that I don't want it visible on camera. So I need something that performers better at around 10" or maybe a touch more.
Have you guys got any advice on that?
