Memory Usage

I have been testing to run multiple portable instances OBS and stream to a YouTube channel and found that my 16GB of memory is used up (4 instances last about 5 hours of streaming) Then I decided to add up additional 32GB of RAM and still facing to same problem. FYI: Streaming pre-recorded video, looping.

I tried to monitor resource usage and found that memory keep going up and used up, not sure if OBS ever released memory or it get keep use them up.

I just want to test out how capable is PC can handle 12 hours streaming (max or ideal instances). My PC specification right now is core i5-12600K - 48GB RAM, no Graphic Card, Windows 10PRO all SDD HDDs.

I planning to run several 24/7 streaming channels and looking for a cost effective solution. Hope I can get some suggestion and recommendation here. Thank you.

It sounds to me as though you have the same issue that I have, as reported in my post #148226.
One respondent suggested it must be issue with a kernel driver outside OBS, but I have not been able to make any progress towards a resolution.

Adding a screen capture after 5 hrs. of streaming 2 concurrent instances, memory usage start at 12% and now 63%.

Everything seem to work well on new releases 27.2.0. Perfect! Commit and Working memory ืีare more reasonable on all 6 instances of OBS.
