Hello,
at our school, we are using Extron streaming units as media sources for OBS Studio portable in order to stream lectures from some classrooms online. So far, this has been working good so we wanted to use the same solution in other classrooms too. The problem is that in these new classrooms OBS won't load the media source and shows only a black screen. The same RTSP source works fine in VLC player and even in OBS when VLC source is used instead of Media source.
In logs, there seems to be an error line saying "MP: av_read_frame failed: Operation not permitted (-1)".
I would be grateful for any help or suggestions. Also, are there any disadvantages of VLC source compared to Media source?
