Question / Help Media Source silent on stream - NOT a monitoring issue

Glad to hear it!
Was just tracking this thread down to see if I could help out and boom, already fixed.

Though now I'm curious why a reinstall would have fixed it. Did you remove your existing settings, or just uninstall/reinstall the program itself?

I removed all user settings, so it came in as a fresh clean install of OBS. I built my scene from the ground up again, however my audio settings are exactly the same as they were before. I wrote it all down to make sure.

I'll keep an eye on it, if it happens again I may try just deleting the scene and rebuilding it before trying a clean install, see if that helps.

Ahhh, yeah, the nuke-and-pave method almost always fixes everything.
I had something like that with a prior update; the UI said that the settings were one way, but reviewing the logfiles said otherwise. In my case it just took toggling the source away and back to overwrite the bad setting. Still, glad you got it straightened out. :)
