I am trying to set up a stream with friends. I set up an nginx rtmp server which my friends can stream to. In OBS I then add a media source with the URL as rtmp://127.0.0.1:1935/live/STREAMKEY.
This kind of works. I've been able to see my friends streams. But sometimes they don't start, sometimes they start but then randomly start, or if I restart OBS they have to stop and start their streams in order for it to start again.
You would think "restart playback when source becomes active" would fix it, but that has always been checked for all of my sources.
Does anyone have any idea why this is happening? Is it my OBS, my friend's OBS, or my RTMP server?
