Question / Help Maximum resolution 4096x1080?

Pardon my ignorance, I am new to the software... Pretty sweet so far.. I have a unique rig and I'm running at 5760x1080 or 5040x1050 and when I try to set the video resolution to a custom resolution, it forces a resolution downscale to 4096x1080. I also try to set it to my "monitor" and it still downscales....

Is this a software limitation? Can this limitation be overcome?

I'm a developer so I can help if I am worthy/capable.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

1. Why did you post this in guides? O.o

2. Pretty much every service has a 16:9 player, so actually streaming at that resolution would result in a pretty squished picture

OOPS... Can someone delete this so I can post elsewhere? :)

I actually do it with XLink and it's not "too bad"... I was/am actually suprised. I play at that resolution and it's moreso the social aspect where people can watch/share what I'm playing/Twitch. Eg: http://twitch.tv/divitiacus/c/1834002

Maybe try a base streaming resolution of 1920x360? It's the same aspect ratio, and won't really look any different to someone on a normal 1080p monitor.
