Hello!
I'm trying to record some minecraft clips with a fairly good Laptop:
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 (8GB)
CPU: Intel Core i7 8750H
RAM: 32GB
My game is running very smooth when I'm not recording (~400-600fps), but when I start recording, for around the first minute, everything is fine, but then I'm experiencing massive fps drops and lag spikes, which makes it unplayable. I even downscaled my resolution to 720p, which didn't help. I've tried running OBS as administrator which also didn't make a noticeable change.
I'm saving the videos to an HDD, I'm using "NVENC H.264" as an encoder, using Software x264 only makes it worse.
12000 Constant Bitrate, Preset is High Performance, I'm recording with 60fps, 720p.

I'd appreciate any help!
