Question / Help Massive FPS Drop While Recording

Ive been using OBS for a few weeks and cant fix the problem.
When I go into minecraft single player i get around 120FPS; but when i press record it drops to about 6 if im lucky.
I tried recording CS and i have no problem exceeding 200 FPS (while recording) and I really have no idea how to fix it.
My PC is a pretty good spec please help
