Hi Everyone,
I'm losing around 20% FPS with OBS. In Warzone Tutorial where I did this testing I get around 250 fps. If I run OBS in the background it drops to 220ish( which for it just running allow that much off a fps drop? Then the FPS drops to 200 FPS when I click record.
My PC Specs:
5950x 16 Core CPU
ASUS RTX3080 STRIX
64 gig ram 3666
Hard DRIVES. I play on a m.2 drive 7500 read: 5000 write. Operating System another m.2 Drive. Recording on to a 2tb solid state
Windows 10:
I have 3 screens, Main is 1440p screen other two are 1920x 1080 screens
Power Supply 1200 Watt
Should I be losing this much FPS?
I run OBS as administrator. If i don't run OBS as administrator in the game capture and on the OBS screen my game will not show.
Everyone talks about losing 5% frames or 10% max, How am I losing so much FPS?
When I record in Warzone battle Royale i get around 140 to 190 fps, with OBS running and recording 100 to 120 fps.
I've attached my OBS setting for recording.
I would of thought with this high end machine that I wouldn't be losing this much.
