Question / Help Massive FPS drop CS:GO

Hello, I'm trying to start a YouTube channel but I have this problem. I used to record on a Windows 7 PC and OBS, well, it works fine and it does what it's suppose to do, but when I changed my HDD and installed Windows 10, I now keep getting massive fps drops.(From 80-100 to 30-40) I use Window recording.

go to "advanced settings" change "crf=0" to "crf=15". basically you have the crf so low that it makes you lag and a crf of 15 or 10 is what is needed for basic recording.

huh, what kind of CPU and GPU do you have?

I use an intel potato core 2 q8400 and a potato Nvidia GT 630

ok, so it seems that your computer is not strong enough to record with OBS at a steady framerate. You should consider upgrading your pc to a new CPU and GPU. Your GPU is outdated and is a little underpowered.

I used to use Windows 7(Now I use Windows 10) with the exact same specs(except I replaced the HDD from a horrible 80GB HDD to a 1TB faster HDD) and it worked fine.
