Bug Report Masked grouped source keeps moving after closing and reopening

Hi,
I have been experimenting with masking grouped sources to allow for multiple masks in a single scene, but every time I close OBS Studio and reopen all of my grouped sources have moved (their positions have all changed) despite them all being locked. I have been using the masked filter on the groups instead of the sources to prevent other scenes having the same source affected by the mask filter.

I've included a log file but I don't think it'll help.

Can anyone help with this?

Thanks

Could this be related to how groups enforce the bounding box of the contained elements? If you're applying a mask to a group, it has a possibility of behaving strangely based on how the bounding box conforms to the grouped sources.

You might have better luck using the old method of creating separate scenes, and using the scene source instead of groups.

I thought this might be the case but don't fully understand how the bounding box behaves, and why it repositions upon reopening. Currently, I've tried putting a single source in each group and the groups still behave strangely by moving each time I open OBS.

And it had the same issue with using separate scenes as well. The scenes would shift in the overall scene that was using the scene sources instead of groups. Hope that made sense.

It might help if we had a bit more information about how things actually look. Could you take some screenshots of your grouping? And how it shifts between? Also the filter that's being applied to the group.

I'm unsure as to what's happening now since it's now working? I don't know what I did, but upon multiple closing and reopening and reboots, it seems to be fixed.

Any chance this thread can be deleted? The problem may have solved itself.
