Question / Help Many freezes while recording. Don't understand why.

Hello everybody,

First of all, sorry if my English is poor, I'm French and try to do my best !

Anyway, I used to record with Fraps before and everything was perfect, but 1Go/minute clips are a pain to render after editing. Well, this is why I choosed OBS !

I don't stream with it, I'm just recording. But I don't know why my videos are freezing like each 5 seconds.. I've recorded a short preview for you to explain in images, here is the link :

Could you help me with this ? Do you need more details maybe ?

Your CPU is too weak. You'll need to downscale a bit more, maybe to 1.5 or lower, and you might even have to use Superfast or Ultrafast preset. Go back to 1000 bitrate 0 buffer with crf=15 and it should be better.

Well, it's way better than before, thank you Krazy !

But I still got some freezes randomly. What argument can I change to make it even better ? Smaller bitrate, crf...?
