Make new source modeled after another

I know there has to be a way to do this, but I can't figure out how. I've set up a text source with font, colors, opacity, size, etc. just like I want for a name label. Now I want to make more of them, with different names. How can I do that? If I choose "Add Existing", I can't change the text and get a new source (it changes all instances). If I choose "Create New", I have to define every setting from scratch.

That's the same as "Add Existing". When I change the text, it changes it for all copies, not just the one I'm on.

CTRL-C, right-click->paste (duplicate)

Thanks, koala - that was the key. While you were writing that, I also found the clue on another thread (https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/paste-duplicate-and-paste-reference.118546/) and was testing it.

The default type of paste (what happens when you use Ctrl-V) is "Paste (Reference)", and I didn't know there were two types of paste.
