I just updated my OBS to the latest 19.0.2 version. I'm using the 64 bit version running on windows 7.
Up until today I'd had absolutely no problems using OBS that couldn't be easily solved with a quick google search, but today I started trying to record some gameplay in Maize.
I can play the game for a few minutes but as soon as that time is up it crashes. The first crash caused my computer to reset.
The second time I kept the computer on but Maize was gone and a popup said OBS crashed because it couldn't find the resource it was trying to record.
The third crash was the same as the second, fourth was the same as the first, and the fifth was the same as the second and third crashes. I had been checking settings in both OBS and Maize throughout this trying to find what could've been causing the problem. Maize is very simple when it comes to options so all I could do was run it at lower settings really.
I'm fairly certain it's Maize causing the problems but the popups made me wonder if OBS could be part of the problem as well? Possibly because of the latest update but I can't think of any other reasons.
I tried recording some gameplay in a game I knew worked previously and it still had no problems at all so I think I'll just have to not record Maize but I'd like to know what you guys think.
